Very friendly, small local shop to support! Hard working and great lunch spot. Bunch Melt hit the spot

I absolutely love this spot! I just ate here for the first time today, and I have nothing bad to say! It's so hard to find an old school classic sub shop, but wild bunch is exactly that. The owner is really kind, the bread, is freshly made, and the lemonade is to die for. They have all of your classic sandwich options, and conveniently located between downtown and southside. I will be coming back!

This place is awesome. I always get the club sandwich. It's fresh made on the spot by the owner herself. I love supporting this small business. She is open Monday through Friday only, so get it while you can. You get to choose your own vegetable toppings / sauces / dressings and she has a great selection of chips, drinks and homemade desserts you can also buy like brownies and cookies, she also offers baked potatoes. Service is basically standing at a counter and ordering and then you pay at the register. There are about four tables inside. it's an old office building that she converted into a restaurant. I love this place.

First time in today, I got a tuna melt. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and I was in and out. I'll have to dine in next time it wasn't to loud or quiet and has a calm environment. A nice place to step away from work, relax and get a great meal.

I discovered this quaint and cozy lunch spot recently and was pleasantly surprised. Great hot and cold deli sandwiches made fresh. Service was outstanding and I have already been back twice.

Great little place near downtown that was friendly and fast. Fresh breads and delicious meats with fresh veggies. Highly recommend and we'll go back the next time we're in the area. Try the 12" subs. Next time maybe we'll try the bbq but the Butch Cassidy club was great and hard to forget.

I was looking for a good sandwich for lunch. Recommended on Yelp. It was about mile from where I was staying. I ordered the Butch Cassidy club toasted with chipotle Mayo and pepper Jack cheese. The bread was both flakey and soft. The sandwich was delicious. I got a small cup of chicken and dumpling soup also. It was great too. Next time I'm down near the Baylor Scott Andrew's hospital I know where to go for a quick bite.

First timer here. The food seemed really fresh and there were plenty of options. Place was really clean. I would definitely spend a couple of extra dollars to get extra meat as the sandwich I got didn't have a whole lot. Would try again.

This sandwich shop is honestly a hidden gem. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but the sandwiches are amazing and they're SO affordable. You can't really get any better than homemade bread and homemade potato salad! I ordered the bunch sub and can't wait to come back and try something else!! Would 100% recommend.

Whether you’re a Fort Worth native or just passing through the 76104 area, there's a high chance someone will point you toward 101 S Jennings Ave when you ask where to find the best subs in town.

From the classic Italian cold cut to their messy, juicy Philly cheesesteak, every bite feels made-to-order, stacked high with fresh ingredients, toasted just right, and wrapped up in the kind of bread that manages to be both soft and sturdy—key for holding all that flavor together. And for folks who take their lunch seriously, this spot doesn’t skimp. Each sub is packed, whether it’s loaded with pepperoni and provolone or stacked with turkey, avocado, and spicy mayo.

The Wild Bunch Sub Shop menu brings crowd-pleasing flavor combinations to the table

The menu at Wild Bunch Sub Shop is short enough to not overwhelm but packed with enough variety to satisfy regulars and newcomers alike. You’ll find a mix of cold subs, hot grilled creations, and even a few off-menu gems that only insiders seem to know. Their House Special, a double-layered roast beef and ham combo with jalapeño aioli, is a must-try. Craving a classic? Go with the meatball sub—it’s saucy, cheesy, and just messy enough to remind you what comfort food should be.

Don’t skip the extras either. Their chips and drinks selection includes local sodas and kettle-cooked crisps that pair perfectly with any sub. Everything is served with a smile, and the crew behind the counter has that friendly, fast-casual vibe that makes you feel like you’re a regular, even if it’s your first visit.

A local favorite with a loyal following and authentic reviews to prove it

What makes a place like Wild Bunch Sub Shop stand out isn’t just the food—it’s the loyal community behind it. With glowing reviews across Google and Yelp, diners consistently highlight the consistent quality, fair pricing, and personable service. One reviewer called it “the best hidden gem in Fort Worth,” while another mentioned driving from across town just for a weekly fix of their buffalo chicken sub.

It’s also the kind of joint where locals bring out-of-towners, proudly saying, “You’ve got to try this place.” And they’re not wrong. The shop has that down-home, no-frills character that’s increasingly rare in a world of chains and copy-paste cafes. Inside, you’ll find a few tables, good music, and maybe a line—but it moves fast, and it’s worth the wait.

Convenient Fort Worth location, perfect for lunch breaks and casual dining

Located right on Jennings Ave, Wild Bunch Sub Shop is a lunchtime favorite for downtown Fort Worth workers, students, and anyone cruising through the area. It's close to local businesses, within walking distance of a few parks, and easily accessible by car. Whether you're on a short break or meeting friends for a casual bite, the shop’s central location makes it a convenient pit stop.

While it’s mainly a takeout joint, there are a few spots to sit and enjoy if you’re not in a rush. The crowd? All sorts—blue-collar crews, office workers, students, and the occasional food blogger snapping pics of their toasted sub before digging in. You’ll often hear conversations about local games, weekend plans, or which sub deserves the unofficial title of “best in the shop.”
